Tutorial: DIY Holiday Wine Bottle Vases

Get gorgeous holiday vases in just three easy steps! All you need are some empty wine bottles and you’re ready to get started.

For this project you will need as many wine bottles as you choose to decorate, filler primer, textured metallic spray, spray adhesive and white or silver glitter. Don’t forget to lay down a table cloth or news paper as this will get messy.

Step 1- Spray bottles with primer until white and let dry

Step 2- Spray bottles with textured metallic spray and let dry. This step is optional if you want the base color of your bottles to be white instead of silver

Step 3- Spray bottles with spray adhesive and apply glitter. You can use whatever color you choose, we used silver and white. Let dry and you have the final product!

Fill your sink with super hot water, 2 tbsp of baking powder, 1 tbsp of dish liquid and 2 cups of vinegar. Fill bottle with hot water and put in the filled sink. Let soak for a few and then scrape off. I used a razor.

How many bottles did you make? And of those, how much glitter/primer/adhesive did you use? Thanks!
