Tutorial: No Heat Headband Curls

Beautifully curled hair without the use of a curling iron is easier than ever. All you need is a stretchy headband and a set of hands! Learn how to get low maintenance, no heat, voluminous curls.

Step 1- Place a stretchy headband over the top of your head. The curls will start underneath the placement of your headband so keep that in mind. Headband curls work best on freshly washed hair that is almost completely dry. We added some Oribe Sculpting Cream before drying to enhance the curls. Let dry naturally or blow dry to speed up the process.

Step 2- Start on one side of your head by gathering a small section of hair. Loop the strand over the headband and guide so the hair ends up underneath the headband.

Step 3- Add another section of hair to the original section of hair and repeat the same looping process until you reach the back of your head. The size of your sections will dictate the size of your curls. Smaller sections create tighter curls and bigger sections create larger, looser curls.

Step 4- Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the other side of your head. Once you finish, you have a few options. You can leave it in overnight and take it out in the morning, just wait a few hours or blow dry if you’re short on time.

Step 5- Pull the headband up and gently shake so the hair will fall away from it. Brush out the curls to create extra volume and spray your favorite hair spray to help set the curls. We used Oribe Aprés Beach Wave and Shine Spray again along with Oribe Superfine Hair Spray.

The final product!

  4. One may apply onion juice on scalp and hair, and leave
for 3-4 hours. Though it seems one of the easier and cheapest
methods you need to select the shampoo after reading the instructions on the shampoo bottle.
It is almost instinct for a woman to want healthy, beautiful hair that flows down her back and
    shines in the sun light.

You wrap all the hair into the headband starting at the front and working your way to the back. If you want the back to be more curly place the headband higher up on the back of your head!
